We are commissioned to Deliver the Gospel, Disciple the Christian, & Deploy the Christ Follower.

Within missions at Lake Bowen, we aim to cultivate a missional DNA that resonates in our everyday actions. We see that by becoming disciples of Jesus, sharing and making disciples here and around the world, we live a life that reflects the "SEND" nature of Jesus' ministry.

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people." Matthew 4:19 NIV

We exist to carry out the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. We know there is a quality and fruitfulness that comes from abiding with Jesus and the Word. Missions equips the church to lead out in sharing the Gospel through Christlike serving, where we all engage the lost, searching, and hurting—locally and globally. We will love our neighbors and nations as well as we lead, send, and support others. We will make disciple-makers who engage the lost and searching in everyday relationships, becoming leaders sent to serve and equip healthy groups to do the same.
